Storeroom Clerk - Lake Success, NY (Overnights) - Temp

They will conduct order fulfillment, inventory receiving, inventory put ways, inventory transfers, lab replenishment. Our system in computer based and requires a basic understanding of computers. Other basic warehousing and distribution operations tasks as required; Warehouse experience is preferred, but we're open to candidates with other backgrounds. A clean driving record is a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Receives supplies.

• Using appropriate requisition forms or invoices, checks in supplies, verifying completeness of shipment.
• Examines supplies to ensure orders are filled correctly and items are not damaged

2. Takes inventory of supplies, as necessary.

• Using appropriate inventory/order forms, accurately records amount of supplies in stock on a daily, weekly or monthly basis according to specific needs.

3. Maintains cleanliness of storeroom; removes empty boxes and straightens shelves; mops floors; periodically cleans shelves.

4. May be required to deliver samples or supplies to other locations using public roads.

5. Performs related duties as required.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• Current valid NY State driver's license without violations, required.
• Prior storeroom experience, preferred.
• Ability to read and write English.
