DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Fiscal Assistant, your responsibilities will require strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. Some of the tasks that you will perform include processing payroll information, managing special funds accounts, and verifying pharmacy inventory. You will also be responsible for distributing monetary reimbursements through the Payroll Office and reporting any discrepancies to the Facility Financial Manager for adjustment. As a Fiscal Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Facility Financial Manager and ensuring the smooth operation of financial tasks. Interested in learning more? - Full-time employment (37.5 hours per week)
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Work hours and schedule may change based on operational needs.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years of experience performing bookkeeping or clerical accounting work; or
- An associate degree in accounting or business administration including or supplemented by six credits in accounting; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
