Position Summary |
This Administrative Support Specialist position will support two initiatives at the
UNC Collaborative for Maternal and Infant Health: The ACURE4Moms study and the You Quit, Two Quit tobacco cessation quality improvement program. This position will be responsible for submitting and tracking invoices and independent contractor paperwork, working with subcontractors to collect necessary documents, recruiting and scheduling medical and human service provider organizations to receive perinatal tobacco cessation training and technical assistance, tracking training and technical assistance provided, as well as report generation and reporting requirements. This position will also be responsible for several communications related tasks, including creating and sending out electronic newsletters, maintaining listservs, and updating websites for the projects. Research support tasks, such as updating protocols, creating
IRB modifications, and scheduling interview participants, will also be required of the position, as well as any other administrative tasks as indicated by the project teams. |
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements |
High school diploma or equivalency and one year of related office experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. |
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience |
Excellent communication skills required. |
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience |
Preferred qualifications include familiarity with maternal health topics and issues, experience working with obstetric practices in NC, experience supporting public health research and programs, and familiarity with
UNC processes and procedures. |
