What you need to know: The American Red Cross is looking for a full-time Program Officer for US Government (USG) Programs, Operations, and Engagement to support the American Red Cross' USG funding and engagement strategy and effectiveness. Core responsibilities will include: 1) Ensuring transparent and predictable guidance to Service to Armed Forces (SAF's) USG funding strategy and processes; 2) Developing effective approaches to engaging with USG partners across the organization; 3) Supporting SAF's engagement on USG policy and advocacy initiatives and priorities; 4) Strengthening SAF's awareness, capacity, and confidence on engaging with USG partners and increasing competitiveness on USG funding opportunities. This position will report to the Director of Business Operations for Service to the Armed Forces but will work collaboratively and cross-functionally with stakeholders throughout the organization both in headquarters and field offices. The work location for this exciting opportunity is virtual. The selected candidate will work 100% remotely from home and can be located anywhere in the United States. Compensation: The salary range for this position is $72,800 - 95,000. This job will be posted for a minimum of five business days and extended if the applicant pool needs to be expanded. We do not offer an annual bonus for this role. Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role.
