Description and Requirements

The Lenovo Smart Collaboration Team is seeking a Product Manager to join us as we transform the workplace with our innovative collaboration solutions. In this role you will be primarily responsible for a subset of the overall product portfolio, including market analysis, definition of features, product positioning, value proposition, and setting/achieving financial objectives. This position will report to the Worldwide Portfolio Director.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Drive end to end product management execution from concept phase to plan, development, worldwide product launch, sustaining and EOL
  • Represent Smart Collaboration business unit as a member of various teams (located in global locations) to achieve time, cost, product feature & innovation objectives
  • Create product disclosure & competitive analysis report to support successful WW launch
  • Identify business/industry trends in the collaboration space; scan competitive landscape; analyze market data to support Smart Collaboration financial objectives
  • Work closely with technology vendors to understand technology trends, product roadmaps, as well as planning go-to-market/demand gen activities
  • Provide product communications to worldwide geographies' teams as well as jointly planning Go-To-Market to grow option sales

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years Product Management experience
  • Strong virtual team and extensive cross-group coordination/collaboration and partnership skills
  • Proven track record on creating enterprise products for mature & emerging market requirements at a global technology company
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with peers, senior management and other functional groups

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA
  • 2+ years Product Management experience within collaboration industry
  • Detail-oriented with proficient product/project management, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a rapidly changing work environment - balance multiple projects / initiatives
  • Superior communication skills - oral, written and presentation skills with management and peers
  • Self-motivated with drive, enthusiasm, and commitment with the ability to work proactively and autonomously
  • Analytical, critical thinker capable of collecting clear/concise data from multiple sources accompanied with strong business writing, product presentation skills, analytical and business math competencies, and knowledge of computer programs (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
