Job Description

Amcor is currently searching for individuals to join our Lebanon production plant!

SHIFT AVAILABLE:

2-2-3 12-hour Straight Nights, 7:00-7:00!

Every other weekend off!

STARTING PAY:

Press Support: $18.03/hour + Plus $1.25/hour night shift premium!

Slitting Utility: $17.25/hour + Plus $1.25/hour night shift premium!

WHAT PRESS SUPPORTS GET TO DO

  • Hub the cylinders and bring the cylinders to press.
  • Maintain and set up press lamination carts with lamination, lacquer, or cold seal.
  • Clean anilox rolls as they come off the press and put them in their proper storage area.
  • Keep inventory levels of gears, splash shields, etc. Notify the Supervisor immediately if jobs cannot be run because cylinders contain defects or because parts are unavailable.
  • Utilize the BMS production dashboard to identify the correct tooling. Retrieve tooling from the Sicma system.
  • Recognize defects in both anilox rolls and lamination rolls. Notify appropriate associates of damaged equipment which must be repaired.
  • Work with the press crew to get ready for production.
  • Assist in running press when needed.
  • Clean parts and cylinders from the presses by hand and by machine.
  • Operate solvent distillation unit as required.
  • Complete any necessary paperwork and/or CI boards.
  • All other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

WHAT SLITTING UTILITY GETS TO DO:

  • Organize and maintain supplies in slitting area (i.e. printed WIP rolls, corrugated materials, core plugs, skids, poly bags, printed labels, etc.)
  • Shrink wrap finished skids.
  • Palletize or stack rolls and cut cores.
  • Remove waste from slitting area.
  • Move finished skids to the shipping area and double check to ensure correct impression count of skids being wrapped.

WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability read, understand, and follow customer specifications
  • Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Must have basic computer skills to complete tasks in operator software
  • Required to have visual acuity to perform visual inspection including the use of measurement devices and ability to identify and distinguish colors
