The Opportunity

Key activities include:

  • Manages the marketing budgets for branding, design, print and loyalty related program expenses including social media and any vendor expenses.
  • Manages development, implementation and communication of market specific monthly loyalty objectives, promotions, and strategies. Identify and prioritize opportunities, including offer testing, to drive consumer-focused business growth; build and execute cross-channel strategies that promote acquisition, engagement, and retention. Develops plan to create personalized, targeted and relevant communications throughout the consumer journey.
  • Work collaboratively with Category Management and Marketing to develop, manage and optimize loyalty marketing content for app, email, print, website, social media and other digital touchpoints. Together with Category Management, owns approval and finalization of any promotional or retail price changes and supporting POS before execution.
  • Develops and delivers internal communications loyalty and marketing objectives and goals to the management team. This also includes all digital marketing program updates and initiatives including store FAQs, contest execution, offer performance, etc.
  • Prepares and communicates monthly performance reporting by program and offer. Works closely with retail information technology and analytics support teams to define reporting requirements and support any program changes.
  • Develops, maintains and advances all aspects of digital external partnerships that pertain to print and loyalty which includes but is not limited to loyalty platform providers, app providers, age verification provider, etc. Works with the procurement and accounting teams as required.
  • Works closely with the Price Book and Information Technology teams to actively manage loyalty offer programming and testing.
  • Supports marketing design and development of loyalty, digital and social media program support for new and reconfigured store facilities. This includes offer recommendation in partnership with the category management team.
  • Consistently demonstrates leadership by creating a team-oriented environment, inspiring and motivating each team member toward accomplishing the department and organizational objectives.

Qualifications

To meet the basic qualifications for this role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.

Additional qualifications include:

  • Four-yeardegree inbusiness,marketingorrelateddiscipline preferred.
  • Extensive digital and loyalty marketing experience working on a variety of marketing and email campaigns from inception to completion
  • Experience with marketing analytics and marketing segmentation required
  • Proven track record in creating and developing successful digital marketing campaigns
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics and Google AdWords preferred.
  • Strong understanding of convenience store operations and regional customer tastes and preferences.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to retail sites in Hawaii and the Spokane, WA region and other Par Pacific locations as needed. Travel is expected to be up to 25%.
  • Willingness and ability to work in stores a minimum of 4 full days per year.
