Your Role on the Team

Position Summary:

The Health Administrative Internship is hands-on and action-oriented, giving the Intern knowledge and experience necessary to take on the challenges of tomorrow's health care field. The Intern will be exposed to every area of health care delivery, attend regular meetings with senior leaders and project sponsors, and be involved in a variety of enterprise-wide projects and initiatives. At the end of the program, the Intern be able to showcase the knowledge and skills gained by presenting the final project to senior leadership.

Required Qualifications:

  • Writing and editing skills to prepare grammatically routine business correspondences, such as informal letters, memoranda, and notification letters
  • Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
  • Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
  • Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Excellent prioritization skills to complete work in a timely manner despite changes in workload or assignment, pressure of deadlines, or competing requirements
  • Computer proficiency and knowledge of on-line processing, web page editing, and a variety of programs, such as Microsoft Office and Tableau
  • Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
  • Admitted to or enrolled in an MHA, MPH, MBA or other closely related program
