This position will report to the Sr. Director, Environmental and Product Safety. Job Scope The Global Environmental Senior Manager plays a critical role in ensuring a robust environmental compliance program while enabling business growth and operational adaptability within the company. You will lead a team of environmental experts across the regions, developing and growing the capabilities of the team and the site EHS teams. You will collaborate with regional EHS teams, shared services, manufacturing, and businesses, to assure compliance, align priorities, ensures efficient operations, and helps achieve collective success for the region. In summary, as the Global Environmental Sr. Manager, you will:
- Establish regional work priorities and resourcing strategies, in conjunction with the Regional EHS Director, Site Managers, and other functional leadership teams.
- Lead a global team of direct reports, growing the internal skills and capabilities of the team
- Develop and maintain the environmental requirements of the region support plan and heat maps, identifying plans for each site in the region to ensure visibility and transparency of compliance and improvement, in conjunction with the Regional EHS Director.
- Lead the development and drive the implementation of environmental compliance/improvement plans for all manufacturing sites within the region in coordination with Site Managers and the Regional EHS Teams.
- Work with the site and regional teams to address any deviance to the agreed plan.
- Lead company-wide networks to promote best practices and develop key Environmental skills and competencies at the site level.
- Collaborate with the regional EHS Leadership Teams and foster an environment of open communication and collaborative problem-solving.
- Provide oversight of Environmental related regulations and provide compliance guidance and support.
- Support the development of company standards and policies as a member of the Environmental Shared Services team.
- Monitor environmental legislative and regulatory activity and communicate potential impact to company operations through a regulatory management of change process.
- Provide formal and informal coaching to others throughout the organization in area of expertise.
- Maintain proactive and seamless communications with functions outside your organization, including legal and business units, to ensure effective compliance efforts and corporate governance.
- Develop procedures, interpret, and apply policy for area of expertise to achieve specified outputs, or advise the wider business on the application of policy, then monitor the implementation of those procedures within the organization.
- Manage a portfolio of projects while coordinating with other functions and reporting to senior colleagues.
- Lead and participate in incident investigations and audits.

Qualifications You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States. Minimum Qualifications
- B.S. in Environmental Engineering or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in environmental engineering, with a focus on environmental management, compliance management, environmental performance, environmental business planning, and/or related fields.
- 5+ years of experience with global direct report management.
- Chemical manufacturing experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree, certification, or licensure in environmental engineering is a plus.
