Key activities include: To succeed as the HSSE Manager, you must demonstrate strong leadership by guiding and developing a team to maintain compliance with air, water, soil, and hazardous waste regulations. Key to this role is effective program and budget management, ensuring environmental performance targets are met while controlling costs. You'll proactively oversee compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, manage regulatory reporting, and address environmental incidents promptly. Clear communication across all organizational levels and regular audits will ensure continuous improvement, while staying ahead of regulatory changes and driving continuous improvement and risk management strategies will safeguard the refinery's environmental standing.
