job purpose:

This role is responsible for the management and orchestration of fairlife's end-to-end network supply planning functions inclusive of RCCP (rough cut capacity planning), network materials planning, mid-range to long-range network production strategy, network milk supply planning, supplier forecasting, and network design and infrastructure planning. This position supports both the production facilities with development of production schedules, and the planning team through forecast and network analysis to best serve our customers and long-term growth initiatives. This role will work cross functionally with key members of the Supply Chain and Operations Leadership team along with supporting functions (Procurement, Logistics & Warehousing, Finance, etc.). This role will drive value by delivering an optimal capacity plan and long-range supply plan built to ensure targeted inventory levels based on customer demand are met, while promoting an optimal cost structure of the production network.

responsibilities:



  • Development and management of network supply planning team across end-to-end planning functions from supplier to customer.
  • Direct responsibility for rough cut capacity planning, mid-range and long range production planning, network supply planning, materials requirements forecasting, supplier production requirements forecasting, and network milk balancing.
  • Lead weekly/monthly collaboration with supply chain, procurement, and operations team members to ensure alignment on network supply plans and mitigation of risk.
  • Key stakeholder representing "voice-of-supply" in partnership with Demand in S&OE and S&OP routines.
  • Responsible for network materials and milk planning, partnering with strategic sourcing on supplier management to ensure business continuity and the development of supply chain resiliency.
  • Responsible for continuously improving network supply planning function through the development and deployment of network optimization and design tools as part of our supply chain digitalization strategy.
  • Proactive management and cross functional communication of quality concerns or other initiatives impacting network supply plan.
  • Demonstrate value through leadership, detailed and innovative approach along with proactive communications.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and sound judgment in all situations.
  • Identify and implement improvement projects over supply chain related processes, systems, and training materials in alignment with Supply Chain Leadership objectives.
  • Primary escalation point network-level production planning, capacity planning, mid-range supply planning, and network materials and milk requirements planning.
  • Responsible for the coaching and development of direct reports including bi-annual reviews, goal setting, and development plans.



skills/qualifications required:



  • Bachelors Degree or 4 years of relevant experience
  • 5-7 years' professional experience in Supply Chain
  • 2-3 years' people leadership experience
  • Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.


  • Strong analytical skills and a curiosity for problem solving technical issues.
  • Meticulous, strong attention to detail.
  • Strong Microsoft Office (Excel, Access) skills


  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, summarize key points, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.


  • Programming (SQL/Python) and Data Visualization (PowerBI) preferred.
  • Dynamics 365 experience preferred but not required.


working conditions and physical requirements:



  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment however regular audits of the plant are expected.
  • No or very limited physical effort required.
  • Limited exposure to physical risk.
  • Regular travel to various sites in other states may be required.

  • Notify supervision of any repairs or adjustments that are required that may affect product quality or food safety.
  • Understand, observe, and comply with the handling and usage of the color-coded container policy while in the Production Areas.
  • Perform all duties necessary to meet Company, Customer and/or Government requirements/standards as prioritized by the Company.
  • Ability to initiate action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities relating to Food Safety and the Quality of the product, processes, quality system, or safety system.
  • Identify and record any problems relating to Food Safety and the Quality of the ingredients, processes, quality system, or safety system.
  • Control further processing or delivery of nonconforming product in terms of Food Safety and Quality issues until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
  • In the event of absence, another employee with the same skill level will assume the duties and responsibilities as required.
