About Our Team

The Lenovo Sustainability Services Organization focuses to reduce the impact of products on the environment by applying business intelligence to maximize reuse and recovery across the product lifecycle.

The North America (NA) Strategic Sourcing Manager will work closely with the Lenovo sales team, Project Management Office, Business Transformation, Product Offering Development, and the customer to ensure Lenovo operates and delivers capabilities to support the NA circular economy initiatives.

What You'll Do:

The NA Lenovo Certified Refurbished Strategic Sourcing Manager will play a key role in evaluating market trends and identifying new routes to market for products entering the next phase of their lifecycle. This role requires a deep understanding of the secondary market to maximize product valuation and profitability.

You will be responsible for:

• Developing innovative market strategies and solutions that align with a circular economy approach, delivering value-add for customers, improving return-on-investment (ROI), and lowering total cost of ownership (TCO).
• Collaborating with sales organizations and cross-functional teams to communicate these strategies effectively.
• Leveraging strong data analytics skills to develop business cases, create models, and ensure agile, objective decision-making to adapt to market needs.

A self-starter with a collaborative mindset, you will be instrumental in growing and shaping this market segment alongside the wider Lenovo team.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management or Business equivalent or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years' experience in solution development, business development, project management and/or services operations experience.
• Experience with electronic product end of life management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with process improvements and engaging cross-functional stakeholders across multiple regions within an organization.
• Experience with vendor management and running an effective business management system.
• Strong ability to produce, leverage and interpret big data sets and operationalize for decision making.
• Highly articulate and professional in both oral and written communication, as well as presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills to achieve desired result.
• Strong excel skills.
• An understanding/experience of SAP an advantage
