This 77,800-square-foot rehab and nursing center provides the community with a state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility and offer short-term, goal-oriented rehabilitation to individuals after surgery, serious injury or illness. The Rehab and Nursing Center - Leffingwell was designed with healing in mind. The center offers 80 private rooms, each with an accessible bathroom, comfortable seating for guests, a large screen TV, complimentary Wi-Fi and beautiful nature views. In addition to a dedicated interdisciplinary team, physical, occupational, recreation and speech therapists provide patients with a customized therapy program designed to meet individual rehabilitation needs. Our expert team of therapists uses the latest technology and techniques to maximize independence and mobility to help prepare patients to return home. The Rehab and Nursing Center - Leffingwell provides on-site access to providers, including physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians. Job Summary
Under the direction and supervision of the Occupational Therapist, provides occupational therapy services to patients/clients to assist in improving basic motor functions, reasoning abilities, compensating for permanent loss of function by teaching patients/clients to perform tasks in their daily living and working environments. May provide treatment to patients/clients with cognitive impairment, psychosocial dysfunction and physical disability. Assists with patient/clients and caregiver education.
