The Design for Reliability Engineer executes a robust process of design, creation, and optimization of systems, consisting of identification and quantification of system requirements, creation of alternate system design concepts, performance of design trade studies, selection and implementation of the best designs and verification that the design is properly integrated and executed.

As a Design for Reliability Engineer, you will:

  • Responsible for execution of laboratory and field validation testing, inspection and data acquisition for use in the design and validation of products and services.
  • Responsible for design and construction of test facilities, instrumentation systems and the development of test software.
  • Leads analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods.
  • Communicates across direct organization. Presents to senior leaders (EB and SEB) in specific technical space and on cross functional teams on how technologies interconnect and contribute to overall strategy.
  • Connects the dots across technologies and develop cross-technology solutions; works on cross-functional projects/teams to deliver technology solutions for the business.
  • Communicates across the function in area of expertise.
  • Developing, coordinating, and conducting technical reliability studies and evaluations of engineering design concepts and design of experiments.
  • Recommending design or test methods and statistical process control procedures for achieving required levels of product reliability.
  • Analyzing preliminary plans and developing reliability engineering programs to achieve company, and in some cases customer reliability objectives.
  • Handling special projects, as assigned

Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Engineering/Technology.
  • Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Testing.
