Part Time Post Doctoral Fellow - School of Biomedical Engineering, Science and Health Systems

Job Summary
Neural tissue engineering lab in the School of Biomedical Engineering, Science and Health Systems is in need of a part time post-doctoral fellow to assist in sponsored research projects.

Essential Functions

• Nanoparticle Fabrication and Characterization: Synthesizing and analyzing nanoparticles for therapeutic use.
• Cell Culture Studies: Conducting in vitro experiments to assess the biological effects of the nanoparticles.
• Animal Studies: Performing nanoparticle injections, tissue harvesting, and histological analyses to evaluate therapeutic efficacy.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• PhD.
• Biomedical Engineering, Biosciences, or a related field.
• Zero Experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Neural tissue engineering.

Physical Requirements

• Typically sitting at a desk/table.
• Typically standing, walking.
• Lifting demands up to 25lbs.

• University City - Philadelphia, PA

Additional Information
This is a Casual position classified as non-exempt. The pay offered is based on the successful candidate's qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
