Contract to hire

5 DAYS A WEEK ONSITE POSITION- NO FLEXIBILITY

Our global marketing agency is seeking a creative project manager to join their team and work with a high-profile retailer! THIS ROLE WILL BE AN ON-SITE 5 DAYS A WEEK/M-F WITH NO FLEXIBLITY. This individual will project manage a variety of creative materials including in-store signage, emails, Facebook ads, social media promotions and more. Must possess good communication skills (client facing), time management and be a strong multi-tasker.

Responsibilities:



  • Manage creative projects including scheduling, estimating, obtaining job detail information, job tracking and invoicing.
  • Assess marketing needs, determining goals and coordinating projects (5-10 jobs at any given time).
  • Act as primary day to day liaison between clients and internal creative and production teams.
  • Apply a broad knowledge of catalog/retail, packaging, and print production workflows.
  • Establish and promote excellent customer service through effective and proactive communications to inform clients and other stakeholders on project status.
  • Assemble appropriate resources/departments required to successfully implement a customer campaign
  • Enter and track a high volume of data related work components and updates to client project tracking system
  • Effectively manage multiple timelines and projects at various stages of a project life cycle
  • Peer Proof creative to ensure accuracy of specifications.
  • Lead day-to-day management and optimization of projects, entering specifications using job management software, and ensuring proper priority is given to each job to meet client expectations.
  • Demonstrate understanding in each area of Creative Services including design, print production and prepress.
  • Attend and set relevant client meetings, production and project management status calls bringing in appropriate resources from Creative Services as needed.
  • Maintain contact with clients and print production to set project milestones, create project estimates, tracks schedules, advise of job progress, scheduling concerns, and any requests for additional information or materials, when required.
  • Maintain pre-set deadlines and produce innovative design while understanding and adhering to client's budgets for individual projects.
  • Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent working experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience in project management or comparable experience.
  • Background in the premedia and/or print industry preferred .
  • Excellent Mac computer skills; ability to learn new programs, and ability to provide basic troubleshooting.
  • Must be proactive, collaborative, driven and seek excellence in execution of tasks.
  • Complete understanding of the "Big Picture" which allows the individual to problem-solve, analyze potential solutions and use sound judgment to make good business decisions.
  • Ability to interpret and understand clients' expectations and guide creative and production teams.
  • Strong project management skills, organizational skills and time-management skills.
  • Proven track record with strong and effective client relationships and solution delivery.
  • Superior presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to listen for understanding.
  • Knowledge of administrative software, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Access; basic working knowledge of design or development skills/software (Adobe Creative Suite, including In Design, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat)
  • Project Management software experience a plus
  • Must have the ability to work independently and manage high volumes of information during high stress situations.
