Pay Range USD $71,760.00 - USD $71,760.00 /Yr. Overview Position Summary: To manage deliverables from the New York State Energy and Research Development Authority (NYSERDA) grant which focuses on building curriculum to train people ages 16-24 with the skills to conduct home energy audits and weatherization activities. General Purpose: The project leader will collaborate on creating and delivering the lessons, recruiting student helpers, overseeing summer programming, and reporting progress to the funding agency. The Home Energy Career Pathways Program will run through the years 2025, 2026, and 2027, with report writing in 2028. The position is dependent upon receipt of funds by the granting agency. Responsibilities * Building contacts and collaboration across Clarkson University and various partners in the weatherization industry Qualifications Minimal Qualifications: Master's in environmental sciences or related fields. Preferred Qualifications: Doctoral Degree in Environmental Sciences or related fields. Experience: Minimal Experience: At least 10 years of working with students in higher education in teaching and advising capacity. Preferred Experience: Preference will be given to candidates who have experience working with priority populations. Essential Skills Teamwork, communication and writing skills, and have grant writing and implementation experience. They must also have a knowledge of home weatherization services offered in St. Lawrence and adjoining counties and a knowledge of sustainability challenges in Northern New York.
