General Statement of Responsibilities: The Intake Supervisor is responsible for providing supervision of the day-to-day operations and leadership of the Intake Team. This Supervisor reports to the Associate Director of Access and Urgent Services. They must also be able to provide clinical services to eligible University of Minnesota students in addition to their supervisory responsibilities. Their primary role is to assure that students have access to therapy and counseling mental health services in a manner that is as seamless as possible. The Intake Supervisor must be a licensed mental health clinical professional and have experience providing clinical and/or administrative supervision. We are looking for candidates who have experience in change management or who have led initiatives or quality improvement processes. This position will be implementing a centralized intake process to improve access to UMN mental health services across two departments, Boynton MH and Student Counseling Services. Detailed Job Responsibilities: Provide on-site and virtual professional mental health services, with a focus on diagnostic assessments and intakes, to University of Minnesota students. Lead efforts to assure that students have seamless access to mental health services through the new centralized intake process. Supervisory Responsibilities (20%):
