Job Summary This position will report to the Dean of Student Life. The Student Services Manager (Social Work) in this position will lead the process in conducting coordination of care and appropriate referrals to support student success, ensuring compliance with relevant ethical and regulatory board requirements. This function is crucial for identifying student needs and developing tailored intervention strategies. This position will serve as a task supervisor for Student Services Manager (Social Work) interns, providing guidance and oversight in practical settings. This includes ensuring that interns gain valuable experience while maintaining program standards. This position will build partnerships and connect with community organizations, facilitating collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. To enhance program visibility and resource availability, ultimately benefiting students. This position will act as a Care Coordinator with the Behavioral Intervention Team (BIT), ensuring effective communication and streamlined referral processes for students in need of additional support. The Student Services Manager (Social Work) will utilize best practices of the field through their provision of case management, ensuring excellence in service and documentation in all phases including: screening, needs assessment, coordination of care, and evaluation. The Student Services Manager (Social Worker) will participate as an interdisciplinary team member in both staffing and consultation to ensure the continuum of care for essential needs. This position will conduct regular program review and evaluation, and analysis of industry trends and regulations. This data-driven approach informs program adjustments and strategic planning, ensuring relevance and effectiveness. Essential Functions 30% - Plans, manages, and oversees program functions, ensuring excellence in service and documentation in all phases including: thorough needs assessment, screening, case management, coordination of care and appropriate referrals to support student success 25% - Builds, plans, manages and implements processes and relationships that enhance program functionality and community integration, fostering a cohesive environment for both staff and clients. Serves as a representative and coordinates collaborative efforts with internal and external stakeholders, agencies and/or community and educational partners 15% - Provides task supervision for Master's Level Social Work interns, ensuring that interns gain valuable experience and knowledge while maintaining program standards 10% - Develops, recommends, and implements ongoing program evaluation through conducting research, analyzing, interpreting, and evaluating program effectiveness and industry trends, using program data to inform decision making, reporting, and compliance with relevant regulations, as well as implementing programmatic and operational changes related to strategic planning 10% - Plans, develops, and manages the assigned budget and grants, ensuring financial resources are allocated effectively to meet program goals and sustain operations 10% - Performs other responsibilities as needed Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in education, sociology, business administration or related field and five years of progressively responsible student services or related experience that includes such things as administration of policies and procedures, program oversight and two years of supervisory experience. OR An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered.
