Job Category: Production Requisition Number: PRODU005129 Posted: December 4, 2024 Full-Time Havana, FL 32333, USA Primary Duty Supervise all aspects of the wood treating process. This includes safety, administration at the plant site, planning, scheduling, production, shipping, quality, product development, environmental and technical compliance, responsible for purchasing untreated raw materials and selling our treated products, and personnel management. Essential Functions Direct production and manufacturing in accordance with established process and product specifications, quality standards, delivery schedules, and standard costs to continually improve the efficiency, economy, and safety of the operations.
Minimum Education/Experience/Physical Functions College degree, or equivalent work experience in related job function. Must have a minimum of five (5) years' work experience in the wood treatment industry. Position requires analytical and problem-solving skills; a good working knowledge of computers; and excellent communication skills. Must have the ability to generate and understand production models. Must be able to obtain a State of Florida Commercial Pesticide Applicator License, a requirement to purchase chemical products for the treatment of wood.
