Your role on the team:

The Senior Manager Drawback - Trade Services is responsible for overseeing the drawback operations of the Trade Services Department and all related drawback functions while maintaining a compliant, productive and profitable drawback program.



  • Monitor team productivity in the preparation and filing of client's drawback claims.
  • Establish new drawback clients.
  • Manage day to day drawback functions
  • Evaluate current drawback functions and identify areas for improvement to increase productivity
  • Maintain high compliance related to the accuracy and filing of drawback claims
  • Keeps abreast of new CBP regulations and industry best practices
  • Manage requests from CBP and ensures all are actioned timely.
  • Initiates and manage start up processes for new drawback clients
  • Provide training to the drawback team handling new drawback accounts
  • Resolve problems and implement corrective action



What you need: (requirements)

* Bachelor's degree from a 4 year college or university preferred

* Minimum 4 to 7 years relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

* Brokerage License required for Customs Brokerage managers

* Must be PC literate and proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

* Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations

* Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals

* Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public

* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists

* Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
