Clinical Social Worker, Per Diem Psych-VAMC-Admin Per Diem 82614BR Job Summary The primary function of this position is to serve as a licensed study therapist for clinical research studies. Staff are required to hold an active license in good standing. And will work with research investigators and research staff to guide participants through standard research protocols and therapy manuals. Study therapists will be required to have excellent knowledge of several standard research protocols and of current practices for providing supportive therapy (e.g. ACT) Their responsibilities will include leading therapy sessions with participants, overseeing the clinical practice of masters level trainees, administering assessments, and completing questionnaires and notes about the participants. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $73.11 - $73.11 (Hourly Rate). Required Qualifications * Master's degree from an accredited school of social work, possession of a Clinical Social Worker or Marriage and Family Therapist license issued by the California Board of Behavioral Science Examiners, and three years of post-master's experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience; and knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position. Preferred Qualifications * Experience/interest working in diverse, community settings. License/Certification
