About the Role:
We are looking for a Technologist who will be reporting to Plant Manager (Entegre) and based in Trabzon.
As a Technologist, you will ensure the correct application of procedures by utilizing specifications, standards, methods, and instruments to measure and monitor the product development process during production, in collaboration with Quality and Production teams. You will be well-versed in all distinguishing aspects of the product, overseeing and safeguarding the results of semi-finished and finished goods, and making necessary adjustments to processes and systems. You will conduct standardized qualitative and quantitative tests to determine physical or chemical properties, with the primary goals of enhancing the product aesthetically, preserving it, and containing costs. Additionally, you will enforce and promote all company guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure the consistent application of processes (dosage, timelines, critical parameters, etc.) according to product specifications and requirements
- Collect and analyze production data to identify areas for continuous improvement in quality and efficiency, aiming to reduce or eliminate rejected products
- Provide problem-solving and technical support to production teams
- Define preliminary conditions for tests and lead trials focused on industrial production
- Establish process standards and parameters
- Contribute new ideas and projects for the continuous improvement of processes and production lines
- Train and update staff on technological and production processes in close collaboration with production, quality, and maintenance teams
- Assess and define necessary process monitoring
- Assist in the creation and implementation of procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Who we are looking for:
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering, Bioengineering, Biochemistry, or Food Chemistry
- Preferably +3 years of experience in a related field
- Strong passion and interest in the food industry sector
- Good numerical skills with the ability to analyze data
- Committed, logical, and process-oriented work approach
- Enthusiasm for personal development and enhancing operational capabilities
- Passion for problem-solving and identifying creative solutions to challenges
- Demonstrable eagerness to learn new skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with key internal stakeholders
- Genuine desire for international mobility
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Fluency in both English and Turkish (additional languages are a plus)
