Parnassus Academic Operations Analyst EM-General-Core Full Time 82528BR Job Summary The Parnassus Academic Operations Analyst provides direct high-level administrative and project support at the Department of Emergency Medicine (DEM) Parnassus site. This position independently prioritizes issues in a fast-paced environment, manages the Parnassus Chief and Medical Director's complex and demanding schedules, screens and triages highly confidential communications and plans and implements events for the Parnassus site. The incumbent oversees and manages the flow and exchange of information, streamlines interactions with key executives and facilitates initiatives on behalf of the Chief and/or Medical Director. The individual functions as the gatekeeper, understanding the requirements and support needs of the Chief, leadership and management, in order to prioritize issues according to urgency. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $75,700 - $123,100 (Annual Rate). DEM administrative and research staff support the work of 90 full-time faculty and 50+ part-time attending physicians, a residency program, fellowship programs and over 300 housestaff and students each year.
