Job Summary:

The Senior Product Management Data Analyst will be responsible for automation, data analysis and decision support for Product Management in ASU, LH2 and CO2 products in US and Canada. They will also provide back-up support for product managers for ASU, LH2 and CO2. Identify and assess productivity projects/opportunities that deliver cost savings, revenue, and cash improvements in the supply chain. This position is the primary interface between Product Management and IS organization to drive changes in data visualization, decision support tools and report automation for the Product Management team.

Principal Responsibilities

Utilize data analysis to assist the ASU, LH2 and CO2 Product Managers:



  • Develop sustainable and automated, best practice data analysis techniques that leverage Messer's numerous data sources (SAP, ALM, SFDC, etc)
  • Provide necessary data analyses for growth and pricing initiatives as well as investment decisions



Drive Product Management data modelling, decision-making tool development and visualization/automation initiatives:



  • Responsible for continuous improvement in Product Management data analytics
  • Maintain future state roadmap in coordination with Product Managers and IS
  • Prioritize initiatives, provide support with User Requirement Specifications, development, testing, rollout and on-going support of new solutions



Support Sales Performance with data reporting automation roadmap:



  • Assist with project management of Sales Performance initiatives to automate monthly reporting
  • Maintain future state roadmap in coordination with Sales Performance and IS
  • Prioritize initiatives, provide support with User Requirement Specifications, development, testing, rollout of new solutions



Provide budget performance support for Product Managers:



  • Develop on-going reporting with key performance metrics for monthly performance vs budget for each product line
  • Provide data support for reforecasting initiatives throughout the year



Systems Usage & Maintenance



  • SAP, SFDC, ALM
  • SAP Analytics Cloud for data visualization



Required Skills:



  • Critical thinking.
  • Self-driven, fast learner.
  • Strong data mining and analysis.
  • Project management.
  • Must have strong Microsoft Office and SAP skills, at a minimum.



Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, finance or data analytics.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in industrial gases or related process industry



Preferred Qualifications:



  • M.B.A. and six sigma certification are a plus
