More information is available at www.alliant.com. SUMMARY Responsible for supporting Alliant's mid-market absence and disability program - Alliant Leave Advantage (ALA). This includes collaborating with Employee Benefit Brokers/Consultants on the development and execution of client centered strategies pertaining to absence and disability, including leave compliance and administration, as well as with participating insurance carriers. Manages book of business and directs the work of a multi-disciplined internal service team, including Account Managers, Absence and Disability Consultants and Leave Compliance Consultants. Collaborates with the core Alliant employee benefits service team, as well as key contacts from participating insurance carriers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Eight (8) or more years related work experience Valid insurance license Must continue to meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewal SKILLS Excellent verbal and written communication skills Good problem solving and time management skills Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork Good planning, organizational and prioritization skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite #LI-REMOTE #LI-AQ1 We are proud to provide comprehensive, high quality employee programs to meet employees' needs now and in the future, including a very competitive financial package.
