As a Project Manager, you will working directly with the Field Service and Shop Repair teams to provide the highest level of customer service. You will be managing domestic and international power generation projectsfor aftermarket services. You will have project profit and loss accountability and will be responsible for customer satisfaction through the management of project related activities and resources.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering moderate to complex aftermarket power generation projects assuring that the activities are in line with the value proposition, schedule, and budget.
  • Identifying proper customer points of contact in each layer of customer accounts and building relationships; fostering customer intimacy.
  • Monitoring, coordinating, and expediting all the internal processes for the procurement of project materials and services.
  • Reporting major project KPI's to leadership such as on time delivery, actual revenue versus planned revenue, project margin.
  • Managing entire project lifecycle from planning stage through the completion of all contractual delivery obligations, including project close-out review.
  • Coordinating all communications between the customer and the Company in a timely manner, from receipt of order through the end of the contract or warranty period if applicable.
  • Reporting completion of project milestones to ensure on-time invoicing.
  • Effectively negotiate and record customer project variations ensuring relevant internal departments are notified in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring final project reports and workbooks are completed on time and in-full.
  • Identifying risks and opportunities and developing plans for mitigation and enhancement/growth.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent from an accredited university and 2+yrs of experience in project management.
  • Experience in field service, or contract management in industrial Power Generation and/or rotating equipment
  • Ability to travel up to 10% to support order execution. Examples may include Customer visits, External Kickoff or progress meetings, key supplier visits, etc
