IT Support Specialist I

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Setup and deploy all end user equipment as needed.
• Installs, supports, and maintains all end user hardware and software.
• Responsible for maintaining inventory of all equipment.
• Supports other IT team members as needed under the direction of the IT Support Manager.
• Documents all problems and steps taken to solve issues to better assist in determining patterns that will develop, preventing future occurrences.
• Support users via remote desktop and in person as needed.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. • AA Degree or 4 years help desk and/or technical support experience required. BS Degree preferred.
• Knowledge of MS Office required.
• Microsoft Windows 7 MCP/ Windows 10 preferred.
• Knowledge of cell phones, HP, Dell and Lenova product lines preferred.
• Virus protection and Kace Help Desk preferred.
• Familiarity with Windows Active Directory preferred.
• Familiarity with VMWare Virtual Desktop Infrastructure preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Management tools
• Military experience a plus
