Field Marketing Manager, Urology

The Field Marketing Manager for Urology will play a pivotal role in executing strategic marketing initiatives to support new product launches, drive sales growth, and provide education to healthcare professionals (HCPs), including physicians and residency programs. This individual will collaborate closely with internal teams, including Sales, Product Management, and Marketing, and serve as a key resource for both internal sales development and customer-facing activities. The role will require frequent travel and direct engagement with key stakeholders, driving product adoption and enhancing brand awareness. Will consider candidates living in Los Angeles, San Diego, Dallas, Houston, Phoenix, Denver, or Seattle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Launch Support: Lead the execution of marketing strategies for new product introductions and manage ongoing marketing efforts for legacy products.
  • Sales Enablement: Act as a field-facing counterpart to Urology Marketing Managers, providing sales support, training, and technical expertise to Urology Sales Executives and Surgical Sales Executives.
  • Customer Education & Engagement: Conduct product and procedural training for physicians, HCPs, and residency programs. Maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to stay ahead of market trends and drive product adoption.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Training, Regulatory, and Corporate Communications teams to develop and execute educational materials, sales tools, and promotional campaigns.
  • Event Management: Independently manage and execute product demonstrations, lab events, and conventions, ensuring alignment with customer and field sales expectations.
  • Market Insights: Solicit feedback from the field and customers to optimize existing products and programs, and report findings to internal teams.
  • Technical Support: Collaborate with Technical Services to address product-related issues and provide troubleshooting support to customers and the field sales team.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Experience:
    • 3-5 years of medical sales, marketing, or related experience in the medical device or technology industry.
    • Experience in Urology, operating room, or clinical environments is preferred.
    • Strong understanding of marketing principles and sales processes.
  • Skills:
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel 60-70% of the time.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift objects over 25 pounds as needed.
  • Compliance: Ensure all activities are compliant with legal and regulatory standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Urology or related medical fields.
  • Prior experience working in field marketing or sales training within the healthcare industry.
