(This position will consist of 36 hours per week but can consider 24 hours per week.) Summary: The Registered Nurse - Clinical Educator role is responsible for the implementation of clinical and non-clinical education in the hospital. Develops, coordinates, and implements continuing education and in-service education for all clinical departments. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) 1. Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing/BSN required. Master's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred. 2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. 3. Experience: Demonstrated clinical expertise in direct patient care as normally acquired through a minimum of two years clinical experience and meets all the care delivery expectations of the expert clinical nurse within their clinical setting required. Experience in classroom instruction and/or clinical teaching associated with specialty specific setting preferred. 4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A 5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Knowledge of educational development and design preferred.
