The schedule is 32 hours per week. A hybrid schedule is availablewith 2 days onsite. The schedule is negotiable, butwould prefer a 5-day work week.

This Medical Librarian position specializes in EResource Discovery and Accessto ensure access to the library's extensive range of online information resources and digital collections.Responds to calls for help, troubleshoots and solves hardware and software problems across multiple campuses, monitors overall system performance, implements improvements, and works with the Director to develop long-range technology plans.Communicates with and manages relationships with vendors,compiles usage statistics.Provides customer service to colleagues throughout the MaineHealth system in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: N/A

2. License/Certifications: N/A

3. Experience: Two years of experience demonstrating knowledge of medical libraries, customer service principles and biomedical information resources required.

4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A

5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Proficiency with Microsoft Office, integrated library systems, specialized library software and website design.
