Description MaineHealth Care at Home is presently seeking a Home Health Aide (CNA) to join the team working in the Waldo & Knox County area(s). This is a great opportunity that affords flexibility of schedule, seeing 5 to 6 patientsa day between the hours of 8:00a-5:00p. The position does not require that you start your job from an office! Experience in home health is preferred, however there is training availablewithcurrent employees who already work in the field! For a limited time MaineHealth is offering sign on bonuses for Clinical Nursing Assistants: 0-1 years of experience eligible for $2,500 (full time 1+ years of experience eligible for $4,000 (full time) Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time CNA position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible. Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment. Summary: Under supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Hospice/Home Care Aide role performs in-home care tasks required to help maintain and restore the physical, social, and emotional health of patients.Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) 1. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred. 2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state license as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Valid Driver's license with vehicle available for work covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. 3. Experience: One year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide preferred. 4.
