Description

Position Summary:

Person in this position acts as a resource for regions that span across the WestCare systems in the development and implementation of the TIMM (Trauma Informed Ministry Model). This person also serves as a subject matter expert knowledge transfer related to trainings and mental health awareness training.

Essential Job Functions:



  • Direct supervision of Trainers
  • Local and out of State travel
  • Implement and maintain a method for ensuring continuous and on-going excellence in service quality and contract compliance
  • Provide Training directly and to assist regions in finding resources for referrals
  • Review materials to ensure culturally appropriate for audiences
  • Develop and manage positive, effective community relations and partnerships
  • Effectively implement and maintain regular programmatic and management reports
  • Ensure adherence to operational service and financial plans
  • Effectively work within system-wide organizational methods, procedures, and practices
  • Provide WestCare's administrative leadership and supervision to the program
  • Function as a liaison to WestCare's executive staff and external groups and agencies in promoting inter-organizational collaboration including attending collaboration meetings as required
  • Participate in design and implementation of research, such as program evaluation and outcome studies
  • Assist in program fiscal and budgetary implementation as well as providing the oversight and management of operating budget and program fiscal expenditures
  • Monitor compliance with all required standards, regulations, state, and federal guidelines
  • Develop, implement, and monitor procedures to meet agency policies and contract management including the preparation of reports for funding or agency sources
  • Embrace and embody the mission, vision, guiding principles, clinical vision, and goals of WestCare Foundation; and


  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

Education:



  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts Degree an accredited four-year college with a degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Addiction Counseling, Counseling, Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent experience and education combined


Experience and Competencies:



  • 5+ years of experience in a behavioral health organization, in a supervisory role/program development
  • Experience providing training services
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Management and administrative experience and capabilities
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Adherence to the highest standard of ethical conduct, especially to standards governing confidentiality
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Must be culturally/linguistically sensitive to populations served


Working Conditions:



  • Considerable part of the job will include travel between locations,
  • A minimum of 40 hours per week are expected but significantly more hours will be required from time to time. Completion of job duties may require working before and after normal working hours.
