Asset & Wealth Management Engineering

Across Wealth Management, Goldman Sachs helps empower clients and customers around the world to reach their financial goals. How you will fulfill your potential

As a full stack engineer within the Private Wealth Management Asset Transfers Engineering Team, you will be responsible for designing, developing and supporting key Asset Transfers platforms leveraged by Clients and Wealth Advisors.

Responsibilities



  • Design and develop scalable backend applications using Java technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features
  • Maintain, improve and support existing software
  • Support production environments to analyze issues across a distributed architecture
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions and technical architecture decisions


Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related Engineering Field
  • 1-3 years of Java and other programming languages with experience in Object Oriented Analysis, Design and testing best practices
  • Experience with the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC), microservice architectures and RESTful APIs
  • Experience with database technologies such as MongoDB
  • Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as React & JavaScript
  • Self-motivated with analytical mindset who can multi-task to solve interesting and difficult technical problems under time pressure and resource constraints
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience working directly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
