Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Cardiology Director and the Cardiology Supervisor the EEG Technologist performs non-invasive diagnostic testing of the brain. Tasks include but are not limited to preparing patients for all departmental testing, performing EEGs, assist during EMG and NCV testing, answering phones, scheduling procedures, completing paperwork.

Required Qualifications:

Current CPR Card

Completed class on EEG basic interpretation or equivalent training/experience in EEG performance.

• Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual
• Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
