Job Description:

Supply Chain Manager (SCM) role who defines and delivers a supply chain design that meets procurement, materials availability, quality, technology, DFX, and manufacturability targets throughout all phases of the ISG in-house design product life cycle, and integrates the supply chain resources to accommodate the growth of multi Segments to bring more synergy and diversity supports for New Product Introductions and subsequent Sustaining executions. The new role is the key connecting link between internal stakeholders (Supply Chain Team - Commodity Management, Cost, Business Planning, Capacity Provision, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality) and our external stakeholders (Marketing, Development, Service, Finance and etc.). SCM is responsible for managing supply chain activities to act as an end-to-end focal to robust and maximize the efficiency from ISG Global Supply Chain Team to strengthen operations for One Lenovo strategy and to fulfill manifold aspects of business needs for Lenovo Success.

Responsibilities:

  • Problem Solving - This role executes more in-depth tasks. Follow the server product launch process to identify and resolve issues. SCM is capable of accommodating and delivering business requirements by optimizing process and cost.
  • Facilitate communication inside Supply Chain Team (Procurement and Manufacturing) and serve as a Supply Chain representative to communicate with external teams (Marketing, Development, Service, Finance and etc.)
  • Develop NPI sourcing plan, participate in sourcing decision making activities to the BU, deep dive into product cost to ensure products are competitive.
  • Responsible for NPI production in worldwide manufacturing sites for product launch
  • Governance to end to end supply chain from NPI kick-off, sourcing, cost management, and MFG enablement till product end of life.

Position Requirements:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 7 years in Manufacturing or Engineering background
  • At Least 5 years' experience in Project or Program Management
  • Previous Experience Product Development Lifecycle, Production Quality Control, Supply Chain Leadership, Supply Chain Sourcing, Preproduction, NPI Management

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years in procurement/supply chain/product management in the server industry
  • PMP certification is a plus
  • Knowledge in SAP
  • Customer-centric attitude, attention to detail, and demonstrated creativity in problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently on projects, manage day-to-day assignments, and collaborate as a proactive team leader.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced global environment and meet aggressive deadlines.
  • Possess a positive attitude and high standards for creative executions.
  • Strong multitasking and interpersonal skills
